Echoing the quiet sophistication of the 1940s, our CC09 satin French knickers bring period-perfect glamour to your lingerie drawer. Cut from an original British CC41 utility pattern, they blend historical accuracy with modern comfort for a truly timeless fit.

These vintage French knickers are tailored to accommodate a slightly more generous waist than our other styles, offering approximately two inches of extra room for a more comfortable, breathable fit. The lightweight peach satin has a gentle mechanical give, allowing for easy movement whether you're dancing, lounging, or layering beneath your favourite 1940s or 1950s dress.

Made from a 100% polyester satin—lighter than the fabric used in our Maitresse or Harlow ranges—these satin French knickers match beautifully with the rest of our vintage peach and black lingerie. A 100% cotton gusset ensures lasting comfort.

Each pair is ethically produced in our trusted Indian factory, where skilled machinists bring vintage designs to life with care and precision. The CC09 style was launched in 2009, its name inspired by the original CC41 utility label introduced during wartime Britain. Our CC09 line pays tribute to the resilience and ingenuity of 1940s fashion—when creativity flourished despite rationing—and remains a celebration of vintage femininity and thoughtful design.

Whether worn alone or paired with a matching bullet bra or suspender belt, these French knickers are the perfect balance of historical authenticity and contemporary wearability.

Sebastian ★★★★★

Wore the Vintage Peach pair under a sheer tea dress all evening and the high-waisted cut sat exactly where it should, no rolling or digging. The satin feels substantial rather than flimsy, and the 1940s shape is genuinely flattering.

Leo V. ★★★★★

The satin has that heavy, cool-to-the-touch feel you just don't get from modern lingerie, and the Vintage Peach shade is gorgeous in person. Wore them under a bias-cut dress all evening and the high waist stayed put without digging in.

Isabella S. ★★★★★

The high-waisted cut sits exactly where it should and doesn't dig in at all. The satin has that proper 1940s weight to it, not thin or shiny-cheap. Wore them under a dress all evening and forgot I had them on.
